I think he already has some :') It's been like 25-ish years by now. He used to be a really good and smart police officer that it really made me wonder where it all went wrong XD I mean, Eri had to have a certain standard before marrying this drunk os-san.
Well I don't read the Manga so I can't 100% confirm, but it was said in Ep 1029 that Zero was very good at shooting, to the point everyone thought he was the best in the academy's history, but the instructor said the best shooter was a guy, who quit the police force and became a private detective with an office in Beika city .... Which would imply it's Kogoro.
Really wonder where it went wrong with that guy xD
Lol 😂
i'm surprized kogoro still have not developped immunity to the sedative , being drugged almost on daily basis .
They use stronger sedatives every time, that thing can kill god at this point.
top anime weapons:
4- Gundam
3- Tetsayga
2- Death note
1 - Conans tranquilizer dart of death
It was a hard case, until the light was reflecting in his glasses covering his eyes 😭
I KNOW RIGHT! when that happened i knew immediately that he was the culprit lmao
nah it was actually really easy... although I was slightly wrong about the motive...
Even if Conan didn't find the cup in the wrong way, he would've found out the culprit eventually. Because attempt to murder on Taro-kun's life was made before too and Conan + Kogoro couldn't let it slip by without an investigation.
Also, Kogoro just straight away believed Conan!? LMFAO...
Average filler case, the plot could have been made better than this.
Yeah...Con-Artist with the most fragile head ever known...
At least it didn't feel like it was written by interns. It was pretty much multiple layered and with a realistic motive rather than: "That guy cheated on me so I want him dead." or some other BS reason :')
it didn't have the trio, so it's automatically better
Lot of meh filler I know
it was better than average
Fair enough
This episode is different than usual. Conan doesn't make use of "ALELE", he became bolder on telling Kogoro his clues, which by the way Kogoro believe right away. He didn't treat Conan like a kid like he usually does, and instead investigate it together with him. Kogoro was also seen saying "you know that from the start", showing his suspicions on Conan, and was also starting to get wary of his sleeping deductions, "what is my last memory". I mean, Kogoro is not that dumb, he'll be catching on one of this days, and one of his major clue is Conan being constant on his sleeping deductions. OR perhaps he's actually caught on already, but setting it aside because his prime suspect is a preschooler.
Something like this happened in Ace Attorney, too. The culprit would have just had to plead self-defense, but their attempts to hide the case just made things worse for them... Or what, do the Japanese consider killing even in self-defense shameful? I don't think us Americans need to worry about that, heh.
Again, depends on the culture. Is your culture one that considers all killing "murder", or is your culture one that praises those who are able to defend themselves even at the death of the assailant? As we can see, a culture built on peaceful notions, like the former, only ended up with more death.
He would still have to leave his wife alone for at least a couple of days while the investigation is going on. And that is what he was afraid of.
well, like what happened after credit, he could just ask his neighbors to take care of his wife, his neighbors are all very nice...
Of course that would be possible and very reasonable in solution, but maybe he didn't want to burden anyone for the consequences of his mistake? Which is a pretty prevalent mindset in elders (and I think Japanese elders especially) Though killing someone else would not really solve the problem if you think rational about it but that's either tunnel vision for trying not to get caught (thus leading to illogical decisions) or anime plot to have Conan get involved in the case LOL.
well in any case... the conman really has weak skull... he's dead just from that... heck, what if he's just fainted and not dead and he buried him alive...? XP
True, you'd usually get a concussion from that unless it was like a corner of a wall. It seemed pretty flat tho.
He could have begged him to keep it a secret first and explained why he can’t get arrested, Esaka was a nice dude and was in his debt too.
Fck you old man. Your wife is going to be so dead when they let your ass out.
I def think that he was going to say something like "I'll keep your secret" or "If you explain to the police that it was self defense, they might let you off" or something like that right before he drank the tea. Esp because he saw that guy man handle him.
Now that was sad. I didn't even think about that he did it but it is incredible how unpredictable the story of DC.
Ran the Model... sounds interesting for the next episode...
I liked kogoro in this episode ahah
Ah, I'm weak at playing detective games. I think the killer was grandma or 1 of 3 suspects.
Last ep, I was the same, beginning of the ep I thought it would be the construction worker guy because... digging and stuff, but apparently no machinery was used :') Then the more Kinbara-san started to become important into helping the case I was like, oh, its him.
Usually I'm pretty bad at guessing the culprits, but I knew it was him because he was the only one to leave first lol
Conan doesn't even care about being a child near Kogoro lmao
Lol 😂
There is no way that, the con artist was killed by a 71 years old man push, that hit would never have been enough to kill him.
I'll watch your wife until you are back more like forever he is 71 with 2 murder charges on him wonder how many years he is going to get for it. I wish they never showed the glare on his glass it just reveals the culprit, there is no more suspense, even while investigating it should be subtle like we should not know which person Conan is asking around about.
Majorly missing the suspense and subtlness.
What did you guys think he was going to say after "By the way"?
I think he was going to tell him that he wouldn't say anything, but that he should turn himself in and that he would help out his wife given that they did so much for him during that year.
two specific facts about amnessia.
-It cant be partial, if you get it, it erases almost all memories of the past until you rmember them
- it cant change your personality. So if he didnt commit suicide oer the thngs he regreted in his imposible "dark year" why would he commit suicide now. That is whats bothering here
im surprised that kogoro is listening to conan
good case! same, i worry abt his wife
Sana di na lang nia pinatay 😣
first time i feel bad for a murderer in case closed...
10:00 uncle kogoro trust conan more and more now, and didn't suspect or ask how you can solve it
REMEMBER: Bungee gum has properties of both RUBBER and gum!
Why mention this ?
kogoro actually noticed conan knew that info from the start, but didn't get suspicious that he was lead to discover it himself
Yeah
guess i was wrong,
Kogoro is going to have some serious brain damage after all the drugs shinichi is pumping into him daily :P
